Clear, removable aligners that straighten your teeth without advertising it.

The Quiet Way to a Straighter Smile

Why so many adults choose Invisalign

Invisalign uses a series of clear, custom-made aligner trays that gradually move your teeth into position. They are removable for eating, drinking, and brushing and most people in your life will never notice you are wearing them. For adult patients especially, that is the difference between getting the smile they want and putting it off again.

What experience changes about the treatment

We are approaching our 1,000th Invisalign case. When you have planned that many smiles, you start to know what works and what does not which cases need attachments here or there, when to add a refinement set, when a complex bite needs more than aligners alone. That experience shows up in the result, and in how smoothly the treatment runs.

A smile preview before you commit

Before you order your first set of trays, we use a digital smile simulation to show you a preview of your result in about ten minutes. You can see what your smile is likely to look like at the end and make a confident decision. There is no obligation, no pressure just a chance to see what is possible before you decide.

What is Invisalign?

Invisalign is a system of clear, removable aligner trays that gradually move teeth into a straighter position. At Tatum Dentistry, we have planned nearly 1,000 cases from minor crowding to full bite corrections. The aligners are made from a digital scan of your teeth and worn 22 hours a day, switching to a new set roughly every one to two weeks.

Does Invisalign hurt?

Invisalign is much more comfortable than traditional braces no brackets, no wires, no metal in your mouth. You may feel some pressure for a day or two each time you switch to a new set of aligners; that is the trays doing their job. Most patients describe it as awareness more than pain.

How long does Invisalign take?

Most adult cases run six to eighteen months, depending on how much movement is needed. Simple cases finish faster; complex bite work takes longer. We will give you an honest timeline at the consultation based on your specific smile, not a marketing estimate.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How is Invisalign different from going to an orthodontist?

General dentists with significant Invisalign experience can plan and execute the same kinds of cases an orthodontist can plan, with the advantage that you are seen by the same dentist who handles the rest of your dental care. With nearly 1,000 cases, we have a deep track record of cases similar to yours.

  • What if my case is more complex?

We will tell you honestly. Some cases benefit from a referral to a specialist. Most do not. The smile simulation will show us what is possible with aligners alone, and we will plan accordingly. We do not push aligner treatment for cases that need something else.

  • What about retention after treatment?

Teeth want to drift back. Retention — wearing a retainer at night, or sometimes a fixed retainer behind the teeth — is what keeps your result stable. We talk through retention before you start, and we make sure you have what you need at the end.
